Allison and Brendan originally met in high school when they were both members of the Student Leadership Council. Allison was the Treasurer at the time and Brendan was set to be her replacement. Their first date was at Boston Pizza in Prince Albert were they started dating each other on June 1, 2009. They stayed together throughout their university careers despite having to do long distance for three and a half years when Brendan went to Waterloo. They first moved in together in 2018 to a small basement suite that Allison had been living in. They then built their current house together in 2020. On January 3, 2026 Brendan took Allison to Boston Pizza and asked her to marry him where she happily obliged. They were then married later that summer on July 18th, 2026 at Waskesui at a small intimate wedding.
